I am very proud of Mama. She has been working so hard on many fun designs that we ordered the last of the fabric this morning. Now she can take a little break after cramming for the last week or so. Mama said she lost count but she thinks she has made close to 70 or so pattern and still has more she’s waiting to work on! She’s letting me show off one of the new shirt designs she made. I know my little sister Ringo is going to love it! I’m sure there are a lot of princesses in other families too! We need to wait and see if the gradient is going to print well or if it might need to be altered a little bit. Ohmygosh it is going to be simply wonderful to see all this fabric once it comes in! Mama designed twelve skirts, and nine more t-shirt designs. I wish I could show them all to you right away, but Mama said that would be a big no-no.
We have t-shirts to fit DDdy, DD, DDS L & L shapely girls, DD DDS M-S bust girls, & MDD S bust as well, and each one comes in 3 lengths with 3 different sleeve options! I’m so excited that we are able to have lots of choices so you can have something special just for your girl. Plenty of skirts too as well as some other fun stuff!
I would think it would be totally fun to roll around in all the fabric swatches. Total heaven! <3 My sister Yuriko can’t wait for all the new clothes, but I keep having to tell her that some of them won’t fit her. As usual, she won’t listen.
Naiomi’s Closet is opening March 1st and we still have lots to do! It would go a bit faster if my sister Rainie hadn’t decided that she is going to ‘help’ make the clothes better and putting glitter on the designs she likes! Hmmm… well maybe glitter wouldn’t be bad on some of the clothes. I’ll have to talk to Mama to see if that is an option we can offer. Rainie is so picky about her clothes, if she likes glitter on them, I can’t imagine who wouldn’t want a little more sparkle in their life. :D
Hope to see you all soon!

Naiomi’s Closet opens March 1st! Mommy and Naiomi have been working really hard on lots o fun stuff. I’m Tamayuki, Naiomi’s little brother and they were too busy to tell you guys.
Fun stuff will be there to buy for Mini Dollfie Dreams like me, or the Dollfie Dream Sister, Dollfie Dream, and the Dollfie Dream Dynamite. Mommy said that there would be clothes, fabric, sewing kits, plushies and even some Christmas stuff all year. The best part is lots and lots of it has options that you can choose what you want so you can have special clothes made just for you! Mommy said that it makes things customizable, but I think it is just more fun.
Naiomi thought it should be fun too so she has bunches of polls that you can vote in, read about my family so it makes it really easy to know what clothes will fit your Dollfie Dream, you can even send us pictures of your girls (or boys) when they get their fun new stuff! Mommy made sure that there would be fun events sometimes too, but she said I can’t tell you what they are.
Oh, I almost forgot! Mommy wanted me to tell you that if you follow Naiomi’s Closet Tumblr, or NaiomisCloset on Twitter then you can easily get updates to what’s new and and all the goings on!
You want to know a secret? Did you see the chair I’m sitting on? That’s one of the neat things that they are working on to have in the store! Don’t worry though, there will be lots of neat prints that you can get it in. This one was just made from some scrap fabric Mommy had.
Don’t forget to tell you Dollfie Dream about my sister’s store, it would make her really happy!

Man forgets he is married after surgery (x)

After having my husband in an accident and one of the results was temporary memory loss, anyone who laughs at this has no freaking idea how scary this moment can be.

After being told by a police officer (and former classmate) that your husband nearly died of hypothermia and rushed to the ER, it takes so much courage to stand there and talk to him, asking him questions to see what he can remember. After being high school sweethearts and together about a decade at that point, it is the single most terrifying moment when you realize that the one man you truly love may have had any memory of you erased.

Sometimes I still don’t know how I stood there, rubbing his hand, and sounding as if nothing were wrong, not even knowing if he would ever remember why he wore a ring on his finger. Not knowing if our relationship, and all the happy memories we shared, would all be reset. Our life together simply gone for one of us. I had no idea if I would be the keeper of the ghost memories of the life we had.

This is a kind of fear I wouldn’t even wish on my enemies.

We were lucky that most of his memories came back, but even the doctors couldn’t guarantee if there would be a full recovery or not. There is that week of his memories that is forever lost, a Christmas he will never remember. Over five years later there are still memories of things I remember vividly that my husband reacts to as a curious story, never recalling that he was the other person that made that memory.

Every January I have to relive that fear when all the memories come back, being reminded that I nearly lost the one person that means the world to me.

Following on from my previous post re: dolls not looking like their characters.
I’ve also seen a lot of people moaning ‘I wish Belldandy was a Dollfie Dream instead.’
I personally think Belldandy really suits her Super Dollfie form and I would rather see her this way than as a Dollfie Dream. I don’t think she would really suit the Dollfie Dream body. I would buy her in a heartbeat if I could afford it, that’s how great I think she is, but as I said in my last post; I’m saving to buy a house so I can’t really justify her ;__;
Still, in order to really test out whether Belldandy looked good enough in resin, I showed her to my brother. Long time Ah Megami Sama fanboy but has never been bothered by dolls. He thinks some dolls I’ve had are cool, but on the whole he doesn’t really care either way for dolls.
I showed him Belldandy and he thinks she’s perfect and in his own words ‘Belldandy isn’t really Dollfie Dream material anyway.’
So there you have it.
P.S I won’t be making a post about Yaya as I know absolutely nothing about her character so I don’t really care :D

DItto. The more I see of her I just wish I could get her. I just have way too many Dollfie Dream priorities at the moment. Every time I see her it’s an ‘awwww’ moment. <3

Since my sister pulled this up on her Pintrest page thinking I’d be happy for the memory, I feel obliged to comment.
Never, in my life, have I held such resentment and loathing against something that thinks it is grand enough to be called furniture. I had one. It was chocolate brown. It sat on the floor yelling out how versatile it could be. Look, I’m a chair! Look, just flip this part down and I’m a wider seat! Look again and if you just move this piece out I can be a chaise lounge! It wanted to be your best friend. Like an overly helpful roommate, too stupid to take a clue to get out of your face.
As I said, mine was brown, and made from a fabric like thick jacket lining. This hunk of glorified foam and fabric was never useful as a chair because you would sit on it and the foam would compress, leaving you at the mercy of the slick fabric. No matter how you sat on it you always ended up slowly sliding onto the floor. If that was all the use I had out of this, I wouldn’t have remembered it more that a weird and cheap curiosity.
I have no idea where we got it from. But it was my ‘privilege’ as the youngest of four to have sole use of it for my bed, at least for a year’s time. My ‘bedroom’ was the narrow hallway where I’d spread this thing out on top of a linoleum floor. Even when this thing was laid flat out, I STILL slid off of it when I was sleeping, instantly woken up by the freezing tiles. I had the joy of being stepped on in the middle of the night by someone going to the bathroom. On school days my sister woke me up very gently by kicking the curved piece until I was awake enough to want to rip her leg off. Often I was too disoriented to do it because my head was bouncing everywhere with each kick.
My last memory of this loathsome object is when I had to clean up my space where all my toys were at this same time. Mom had made my brother give up some room in his room so my toys could be stored somewhere. She went on her weekly cleaning spree and told us to clean our room. I had gotten my part done and straightened all my shelves and picked up my part of the floor. I was proud of myself and sat down on this foam throne to look at my orderly space. I sat there for about five minutes, making a very gallant effort to fight gravity and stay in the chair against it’s wishes. Then I saw a pair of my brother’s dirty underwear sail in front of my face… and land on one of my doll’s feet that was sticking past the edge of the shelf. He insisted that it was his room and he didn’t have to clean it if he didn’t want to. Fighting with him was as successful as trying to sit on that slick piece of stupidity that someone thought was a great idea.
Were those really the ‘good old days?” :/

I like that dress. Is going to be available in DDdy size? Naiomi looks so cute in it :)

Yes, I can easily make the dress in DDdy size, and I luckily have enough of the fabric left for the dress too. It’s some fabric I’ve had for a long time so I wasn’t too sure if I had enough left. If you’d like I can reserve it for you. :D I’m highly thinking about doing my own version of this fabric so I will always have some available (it’s one of my favorites), but the print wouldn’t be identical. The plus side is that I could have it printed on many different fabric types! :D

Naiomi was actually wearing that dress because it’s what she had on for her birthday. XD The print on her head scarf is one of my own designs! :D I just need to get a better pic of it.

Ok, someone needs to turn these into DD! Naiomi might pin me down and force me to make her the Mismagius one since she is too busy with set design to sew it herself. :/ Even Rainie wouldn’t mind the extra froof of the last one since it is Pokemon! XD

These are just stunning!

“uh no you don’t control me, I control you, human.”
this blog is hilarious

Our cat Dimples would do this, often with her claws out. But our big fluffy & strong boy cat Moose would not. Whenever you touch his feet he reacts like, “Ew, ew, ew! Something icky is touching my feet! Don’t touch my foot, it makes me feel all gross and slimy like someone touched it!” *nearly starts crying*
It is hard to believe sometimes that he was a stray cat who left about a foot long scratch down my arm the first time I tried to pick him up. He’s such a big baby.
